About The Owner


Meet Sarah Dorff, the owner of her small business called Willow Wedding Studio. She is 31 years old. Sarah lives in Greenwood IN with her husband Will and their two golden retrievers Birdie and Bogey. She has degree in medical billing and coding, which she received from Harrison College in Indianapolis. She has worked a total of 7 jobs over her whole life. Her most recent job was with the biggest hospital in Indiana IU Health working as a nurse staffing coordinator. Sarah and her husband Will We are both very close to their families and enjoy spending all the time that they can with their family and friends. In Sarah's free time she enjoys music, and anything that is a DIY project.


History Of The Business


Willow Wedding Studio is very new business venture for Sarah. She started WWS after going through all of the planning with her own wedding. She noticed how expensive wedding stationery really was. After seeing that she set out to create beautiful unique designs for reasonable prices to suit any bride's budget. Sarah was not passionate about the corporate work that she was doing. She quit her job and decided to pursue her passion creating designs for the wedding world.


About The Business


Willow Wedding Studio sells unique, custom and handmade wedding stationery from bridal shower invites to wedding invitations. She also sells bridal gifts such as custom tumblers and jewelry boxes. Sarah's business is based out of Greenwood Indiana, but her customers can shop from all over and WWS will ship directly to your front door. Sarah's most popular products that she sells in her shop are her custom wedding invitations.



Perks And Obstacles With Owning Her Business


Sarah's favorite thing about owning her own business is having the freedom to make her schedule. By making her own schedule she has more time to spend time with her family and friends, which is the best perk of all. The hardest part of owning her business this far has been building the business itself. Sarah has found it quite difficult to get her name out there to the right market and have her products stand out from the competition.
