Meet Morgan Gardaya & Mohamed Guleid, the owners of SugaLumps Cupcakery & Sweet Treats. Morgan and Mohamed are husband and wife that have been together for 10 years, married for 7 with 2 young children (4 yr old boy and 2 yr old girl). Mohamed is interested in sports and history and his hobbies include playing video games and watching anime. Morgan is interested in all kinds of artsy things and really likes to spend her time by reading. Her hobbies also include learning new recipes or learning new things in general. Mohamed and Morgan both have a history of customer service and met each other at a previous job together as TSA agents at Dulles International Airport.
History Of The Business
This husband and wife duo opened their small business up back in 2017. They opened their business because they loved the idea of making people “fat & happy” with their delicious baked goods. Their business is based out of Germantown, Maryland.
About The Business
SugaLumps Cupcakery & Sweet Treats sells gourmet flavored cupcakes and other handheld baked goods such as pie pockets, cake/cheesecake jars, pie lumpia , and so much more. Their menu features a ton of super unique items that you would not be able to find at your local grocery store. Morgan and Mohamed's favorite thing about owning their business is experimenting and creating new flavors for their customers, they love being able to provide a 1 of a kind experience for their customers.
