Meet Michelle Vasquez, the owner of her small business called Events by Michelle. She is a San Antonio native. She grew up in a very sports-oriented family. Her middle brother was a baseball player and her oldest brother was a tennis player. When she was 12 years old that's when she really developed her love for sports, specifically tennis. She took her tennis career to high school and even to college. She ended up only playing for two years during her college years and then decided to just focus just on her school work at that time. She graduated with her BBA & MSA in Accounting from the University of the Incarnate Word.Over the years she has had several corporate jobs but just recently she has found her passion for event planning!
History Of The Business
Michelle is brand new to being a busy owner. She just started her business 2 months ago. The idea of starting her business came ot her when she was playing tennis with her friends who own their own catering company. They are the ones that told her that she should start her business for wedding coordinating. When she was first told this by her friends, she thought that were crazy. She had no idea how to start her own business and what steps she needed to take. After some serious thoughts she decided to take a leap and start her business, she thought this would be a great way for her to get into the wedding world!

Events by Michelle specializes in day-of/month of coordination services to put your mind at ease on your big day! She takes all the stress out of planning your wedding so that you can focus on the important things and taking time to soak in such a wonderful time in your life. Her most popular service is her day of coordination; which offers her to be around on your special day and she will work directly with your vendors to make sure everything goes perfectly on your special day! Something that makes Michelle's business so unique is that her services are completely customizable, which means she is able to work with all her brides. If someone has a specific request, she is able to do her best to make that happen for bride. Michelle finds joy in making a difference for her brides by going above and beyond for them. She loves being able to see all of her hard work come together on the wedding day and seeing how happy her brides are.
