About The Owner
Meet Cherimarie Poulos, the owner and founder of Carlsbad Food Tours. Cheri was born and raised in California. She has lived in San Diego for over 20 years, where she also raised her children. She has a strong connection to Carlsbad, in fact one of her daughters was Miss Carlsbad in 2005. Cheri was also a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and loves to teach others about how to live a healthy lifestyle, which includes walking, eating healthy foods, small frequent meals, and socialization. All of which are in her tour. Cheri won “Women-Owned Small Business Award 2017”. The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce created their annual small business awards as a way to recognize the accomplishments of small-business owners. Cheri’s Hobbies include art, painting, belly dancing, swimming, horseback riding – gaited horses.

Carlsbad Food Tour opened in May 2014, becoming the first guided culinary and wine walking tour in Carlsbad, CA. They focus on helping visitors and Carlsbad residents alike, enjoy the best off-the-beaten-path food and cultural experience possible. Eat like a local and enjoy a taste of Carlsbad!

Carlsbad Food tours is a 3-hour guided walking tour around the village with six stops at unique eateries for food and wine tastings. You learn about Carlsbad’s history, culture and architecture while eating your way through town. The Food Tour design will help get your team talking, both during the experience and afterwards.
