Meet Megan Willke, the owner of Bayside Luxury Picnics. She grew up on the Eastern Shore and she loves every bit of the slow eastern shore life and can't picture living anywhere else. She has a background and bachelor's degree in business. In addition to owning a luxury picnic business, She also is also a wedding planner too. When she is not busy running both of her businesses she enjoys spending her time with her son on the beach and also enjoys painting.
History Of The Business
Megan has been in business for a total of 3 years. She always really enjoyed making stunning dinners at her home for friends and family,but never was the best cook. She always loved the process of the details such as decorating the tables with florals, string lights, and creating a romantic atmosphere that just made her so happy. So, she then decided to do it for a living! She has truly loved every minute of it too!

Bayside Luxury Picnics is so flexible and
creative. They do not just have basic picnics. We have done stylized photo shoots from a year old’s first smash cake to two days of set up for photographers. Whatever their clients have dreamed, they have made it a reality for them. Megan's favorite thing about owning her business is getting the chance to create memories and special moments for people. They have hosted tea parties for
little girls’ birthdays and have set up so many secret wedding engagements. Megan loves being able to be included in her clients life milestones.
Bayside Luxury Picnics is catered by Ambrogia who curates authentic Italian (and delicious) charcuterie for every picnic. Seagrass Floral Apothecary creates stunning and unique floral arrangements for you to take with you after your picnic to remember the occasion for days to come! Both of these businesses are successfully run by women and are located in Cape Charles, VA.
